This is Rufus and Bear.  Rufus is the tabby, and Bear is the black cat.  Their job is to greet customers and play with the floor beads.

But, sometimes they lay around on the job.

Lisa is a bead artist, and consultant.
  • She has been making designing and making jewelry for around 3 years.
  • She met Lora during a local bead retreat. They bonded while making beads and shopping (for beads of course).  Eventually Lisa's bead habit really got so out of control that there was nothing left to do but work for Lora so she could support her need for the bead.
  • Lately, Lisa's focus has shifted towards wire working. Yet, she still enjoys many other aspects of beading.

Comet was an icon of the Bead Biz.  He lived at the store full time and worked in between naps.  He had a knack of making people feel special and welcome.  He will remain irreplaceable to us all.  Comet always supported the care and nurturing of less fortunate kitties.  He personally put up with several litters of foster kittens invading his space, playing with his toys and eating his food.  This he endured with a grace and style that was uniquely his own.  Comet invites you to support your local animal shelter (his favorite is Save Our Strays) and to spay or neuter your pets.
